Now that AOL Pictures is dead, may it rest in peace...

If you are looking for an alternative for AOL Pictures, I recommend DotPhoto.

You can download your photos to their original sizes. Also, there are several ways to upload your photos. **My favorite is the FTP upload, just drag and drop**

dotPhoto offers many ways to upload your photos!

Flash Uploader: Our easiest and most recommended uploader! Works with virtually all operating systems on all computers that can run Adobe Flash. Flash installation is required.

JAVA Multi-File (Advanced): For PC or Mac. Requires Internet Explorer version 5.0 or later running on Microsoft Windows, or Safari 2.0 or later running on Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later. Your security software must permit pop-ups and installation of an ActiveX application.

Email from your Camera Phone: Virtually any phone that is enabled for email and picture messaging can upload photos (and video) to your dotPhoto account.

Eye-Fi Wireless SD Card: Upload effortlessly from your camera directly to dotPhoto through your WiFi connection.

File by File: Use our pure online tool to match photos with sound files loading ten at one time.

dotPhotoGo by Noromis: Free software for Windows XP & Vista. Get photos from your camera, automatically fix red-eye, adjust color and upload to dotPhoto!

Email: Email dotPhoto your photos from your computer and we'll upload them to your account.

FTP: By using FTP, you can upload multiple files in one session! You may also choose to apply a watermark to your photos to protect your online images. We support Internet Explorer FTP mode and suggest SmartFTP for Windows and Fetch for Mac.

Mail a CD: We'll upload your pictures for you! Mail your CDs
